With over 115,000 weddings taking place on the Hawaiian islands in 2018, theres really no venue or island you can go wrong with for your destination wedding. At Joehl Wedding Planning we’re always on the look out for any new or creative sites that can be used as a venue for your wedding. While we were cruising through Maui, the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm caught our attention.

Nestled in the cool Haleakala slopes in the Upcountry region this beautiful Lavender farm feels like being in the Mediterranean. With its cool and dry climate, and wispy purple (and white!) lavender from Spain, France, England growing everywhere. You’re in Maui, and at the same time it feels like you’re not. Lavender grows here year round making it a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Not to mention the smell of lavender filling the air to set the ambiance as your guests roll in. What a unique and special setting in Hawaii!

This venue would suit couples who want something different for their wedding or reception. While still getting that island feel for your destination wedding. Whatever the reason, this cool rustic lavender farm makes for a great venue! It certainly charmed us.
